We were a fan of The Girl and Rhino t-shirts as soon as we saw this design, depicting a giant Port of Oakland cargo crane daydreaming about its future as one of the Empire’s giant war machines in George Lucas’s The Empire Strikes Back movie! Well, we were fans as soon as we saw that design and also the one with an image of President Obama and the caption: PILF.
It’s no wonder The Girl and Rhino won the East Bay Express award for Best Local T-Shirt Makers! Adam Boroian is the Oakland-based originator of The Girl and Rhino apparel line and brings it to the world through local farmers markets and craft fairs, online and now through Modern Mouse!
