We spotted one of these irresistible pop-up placemats made of recycled paper on Etsy’s front page, and we had to see who the maker was. We were full of delight to find Publique Living to be a San Francisco-based company, and even more pleased when designer Lian Ng accepted our invitation to join Modern Mouse!

Lian is a self-proclaimed aficionado of mid-20th century furniture and modern minimalist architecture, an interest that we think comes across quite nicely in his amazing work. If creating his line of die-cut and laser-cut designs wasn’t enough, Lian also teaches graphic design and typography at The Academy of Art University in SF! We look forward to presenting Lian’s line of Publique Living products to you, and welcome Publique Living to the family. Thanks so much!
