Yokomono Studio at Modern Mouse!

We’re serious fans of crafts with a Japanese flavor, so we knew we had to have Yokomono Studio in the house. Powered by designer/creator Yoko from her studio in Berkeley, California, Yokomono Studio offers dainty handle bags, quilted lunch bags and tissue box covers in some tasty fabrics.

Aside from being fun to say, we like the Yokomono name because of its meaning too. Mono (pronounced with a long “o”) is Japanese for “things, articles, objects”, so Yokomono = things brought to you by Yoko. Clever! Queen Puff Puff at Modern Mouse!

Today we’re thrilled to welcome Queen Puff Puff to the Modern Mouse family of designers! We’ve long been down with “QPP”, aka Nicole Vasbinder from Petaluma, CA who also runs her own marvelous fabric shop up there and teaches sewing classes both at StitchCraft and over here at Stone Mountain & Daughter Fabrics. We’ve said a gushy thing or two about Nicole and StitchCraft before, so you can imagine our delight at having Nicole and her lovely bags and accessories at Modern Mouse. Thank you, Queen Puff Puff!
